Why people call
Most calls start with one of these
Water problems on rural property rarely announce themselves clearly. Here are the four situations we hear most often — and what's usually behind them.
What we handle
Everything from the well to the building — nothing inside it
We work the supply side: from your well through every component until the line reaches your house. Six areas cover almost every call we get.
-
Pumps
Submersible and jet pumps — diagnosis, repair, and replacement. We check controls and wiring before we pull anything, because the fix is sometimes simpler than the symptom suggests.
-
Pressure tanks
The tank that looks like a propane tank near your pressure switch. When it waterloggs, your pump cycles constantly and pressure swings. Replacing it is usually the least expensive fix on the list.
-
Water lines
Supply lines from well to structure — leaks, breaks, freeze damage, and new runs. We handle the excavation too, so you're not coordinating two contractors.
-
Cisterns and water delivery
If your property runs on a storage tank, we service the system and deliver water when supply runs short. Useful during drought or while a well problem is being sorted.
-
Septic systems
Septic is on the list because rural water and wastewater problems often show up together. We handle system service and repair — not interior drains or fixtures.
-
Filtration
Whole-system filtration for iron, sediment, sulfur, and other common rural water issues. We size it to what your water test actually shows, not to what's easiest to sell.
We stop at the building envelope — no interior plumbing, no fixtures, no water heaters, no drains, and no well drilling.
What happens when you call
How a typical service call goes
Nothing is booked without a conversation first. Here's what to expect from the first call through the end of the job.
-
You call, we listen
Tell us what you're noticing — when it started, what changed, what you've already tried. We ask a few questions to narrow the likely causes before anyone drives anywhere. This part costs nothing.
-
Free estimate or project quote
For most jobs, we can give you a clear picture of the likely cause and what it would take to fix it. Estimates and project quotes are always free, with no obligation.
-
Diagnosis on site
We work through causes in order — cheapest and most common first. You'll know what we found and why before we touch anything that costs money.
-
Repair or replacement
Once you've approved the work, we do it with a one-year warranty on labor and materials. On equipment we supply, you get a five-year warranty through our authorized dealer status.
-
Follow-up if anything's off
If something isn't right after the job, call us back. The warranty isn't a document you file — it's an expectation we hold ourselves to.
When you're ready to talk through what's happening with your water, we're at (719) 859-1148, Monday through Saturday, any hour.
- Free estimates — we quote after we diagnose
- One year on labor and materials
- Colorado License #1447
Why the cheap answer is safe to give
We can afford to tell you it is the cheap part
Not because we are nicer than the next outfit. Because of how this business is built — and all three of these are checkable.
-
No rig to keep busy
A drilling rig is the most expensive thing a water contractor can own, and it has to stay working to pay for itself. We do not own one. A new well is not on our list of answers, because we could not drill it if we wanted to.
-
We are a dealer, not a manufacturer
Authorized dealer — that is where the five-year equipment warranty comes from. We do not build pumps and we do not carry a quota on them. A pump we talk you out of costs us nothing.
-
A wrong diagnosis comes back to us
One year on labor and materials means we are the ones who drive back out if the fix does not hold. Guessing expensive is not only dishonest here — it is expensive for us.
None of that is a claim about our character. You do not have to take our word for any of it — the license, the association memberships and the warranty terms are all verifiable, and they are the same on paper as they are on this page.
Questions we get asked
Before you call
Yes — (719) 859-1148 is answered 24 hours a day, Monday through Saturday. If you're calling Sunday, leave a message and we'll get back to you first thing Monday.
We cover seven counties in southern Colorado, up to 75 miles from Weston. If you're not sure whether your property falls within range, call and tell us where you are — we'll let you know straight away.
No, and that's intentional. We don't own a drill rig, which means we have no financial reason to tell you that you need a new well. If a situation genuinely calls for drilling, we'll refer you to someone who does it — and you can trust that recommendation because we don't benefit from it.
A real conversation about your symptoms, a likely cause or two ranked by how common and affordable they are, and a clear picture of what a fix would involve. No obligation, no pressure.
That's not our scope. We work the supply side from the well to the point where the line enters your building. For interior plumbing, you'd want a licensed plumber, and we're glad to say so rather than take a job we shouldn't.
We'll tell you plainly and point you toward someone who can help. Referring out when it's the right call is part of how we stay credible with people who rely on us for the long term.
Yes — Colorado license #1447, with 15 or more years of rural water system work in southern Colorado. You can verify the license number with the state if you'd like.
Anything you've noticed: when pressure dropped, whether the pump runs constantly, what the water looks or smells like, and anything you've already checked. The more specific you can be, the faster we can narrow down what's likely going on.

Before you call
Four things that make the first conversation more useful
You don't need to have any of this — but if you do, it speeds things up.
- When the problem started. Even a rough timeline helps — 'a few weeks ago' or 'right after the hard freeze' tells us more than you might expect.
- What you've already tried. Resetting a breaker, checking a switch, calling another company — whatever it is, knowing it rules things out and keeps us from retreading ground.
- What the pressure gauge reads, if you have one. The gauge near your pressure tank — if you can glance at it before you call, that single number narrows the likely cause considerably.
- Your general location. Just the county or nearest town. It helps us confirm you're within range and give you a realistic sense of scheduling.
If you can't answer any of these, call anyway — we'll ask the right questions.
Tell us what the water is doing.
We’ll tell you what it usually turns out to be, what it will take to confirm it, and what it costs — before we touch anything.
